Funeral Services For Alfred McCulloch Held Here Today
Funeral services were held at 12:45 this noon at the Manning Cemetery for Alfred Mortimer McCulloch, former Manning resident. Services were conducted by Masonic brothers of Manual Lodge of Manning.

McCulloch passed away at Sioux City Tuesday morning, May 24, 1937, after a lingering illness. He was formerly an engineer on the Northwestern Railroad and made his home with his family here for a number of years.

He was 65 years old. The McCulloch family lived in Manning for about 30 years, coming here from Washington, Iowa. He was the son of Leonard and Rachel (West) McCulloch, born December 14, 1872.

The home has recently been at Presho, South Dakota. Mrs. McCulloch was Miss Effie Woolman of Manning before her marriage.

Mr. McCulloch leaves his wife, a daughter Margaret (Mrs. C.R.) Kinick of Chicago, and three granddaughters.

Former Resident Of Manning To Be Buried There Today
The Masonic service will be given at the graveside in the Manning Cemetery at 12:45 o'clock Thursday afternoon for Alfred M. McCulloch, formerly of Manning, who died at a hospital in Sioux City Tuesday. Services will be held at Sioux City before the body is brought to Manning at noon for burial.

Mr. McCulloch passed away of pernicious anemia after being ill for about six months and in the hospital for two mouths. During the last few weeks, he submitted to five blood transfusions. He was 65 years old.

The McCulloch family lived in Manning for about 30 years, coming there from Washington, Iowa. The home has recently been at Presho, South Dakota. While residing in Manning Mr. McCulloch was an engineer for the Chicago and North Western Railway Company on the run between Boone and Manning. He would have been eligible for pension in a few years.

Mrs. McCulloch was Miss Effie Woolman of Manning before her marriage.

Mr. McCulloch leaves his wife, a daughter, Mrs. C.R. Kinick (Margaret) of Chicago, and three granddaughters.
