ALFRED SCHROEDER
Alfred Schroeder, 73, died unexpectedly Monday night at his home in Aspinwall.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Manilla, with Rev. L. Nutzmann officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

The body is remaining at the Ohde Funeral Home here until the time of the church rites.

Mr. Schroeder, a farmer, had lived in the Aspinwall vicinity all his life. A son of Jurgen and Katrina Schroeder, he was born August 14, 1882, in Iowa Township.

He was married to Alma Nissen May 21, 1913, at Manning. They lived on farms in the Aspinwall vicinity until they moved to Aspinwall eight years ago.

Mr. Schroeder is survived by his wife; four sons, George, Omaha, Alfred, at home, Merle, Manilla, and Ray, at home; six grandchildren; one brother, Elmer Schroeder, Vineland, New Jersey; and two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Ella) Boettger and Mrs. Merle E. (Lillian) Ball, both of Los Angeles, California.

His parents and two brothers, August and Helmuth, preceded him in death.

Mr. Schroeder was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Manilla.

Funeral services for Alfred Schroeder, 73, of Aspinwall were held Thursday at the Ohde Funeral Home here. He died unexpectedly Monday at his home in Aspinwall.

Rev. L. Nutzmann of Trinity Lutheran Church in Manilla officiated. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.

Mr. Schroeder was born, and lived most of his life, in the Manning community. He had moved to Aspinwall about eight years ago.

Survivors are his widow, Alma; four sons: George of Omaha, Alfred at home, Merle of Manilla, and Ray, also at home; one brother, Elmer of Vineland, New Jersey; two sisters: Mrs. Robert Boettger of Los Angeles, California, and Mrs. Merle E. Ball also of Los Angeles.

ALFRED SCHROEDER
Funeral services were held in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Manilla for Alfred Schroeder of Aspinwall on Thursday afternoon, June 21, with the Rev. L. Nutzmann officiating. Mr. Schroeder died suddenly at his home on Monday evening following a heart attack, having reached the age of 73 years.

Alfred Schroeder, son of Jurgen and Catherina Schroeder was born on August 14, 1882, in Iowa Township in Crawford County and spent his entire life in that community. In May of 1913, he was united in marriage to Alma Nissen and to this union four sons were born: George of Omaha; Merle of Manilla, Ray and Alfred at home. Eight years ago he and his wife moved to the town of Aspinwall.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, August and Helmuth. Survivors are his widow, four sons; six grandchildren, brother Elmer of Vineland, New Jersey, and two sisters Mrs. Robert Boettger of Los Angeles, California; and Mrs. Merle E. Ball also of Los Angeles. Interment was in the Manning Cemetery.
