Services are pending here for Alfred Starek, 77, a retired barber who died Tuesday afternoon, June 11, 1963. He had lived here since 1958.
A native of Vail, he formerly operated barber shops at Westside and Manning and at one time operated a bowling establishment at Newton and the Recreation Alleys in Manning in 1933.
Survived by son, Robert A. Starek of Seneca Falls, New York, and four grandchildren.
The body is at the Roland Funeral Home.
