MRS. FRED MAASEN
Mrs. Fred Maasen, 64, died at the Manning General Hospital Thursday afternoon, October 28, 1954. Mrs. Maasen became ill suddenly at her farm home and was taken to the hospital, where she died a few hours later.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ohde Funeral Home here. The Rev. E.G. Otte, of the Mapleton Evangelical Reformed Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Surviving Mrs. Maasen are her husband, a son, Donald, Manning; daughter, Mrs. John McClellan, Denison, and several brothers and sisters.

Daughter of Henry, Sr. and Wilhelmine (Ebrecht) Bartels, she was born April 13, 1890.
