Amanda K. Morin of 3246 Laurel Road, Longview, died April 13, 1986, in a local nursing home. She was 85.
She was born September 29, 1900, at Manning, Iowa, daughter of Chris and Sophia (Nulle) Stuhr.
Mrs. Morin is survived by a daughter, Joan Davis of Davenport, Iowa; a son, Donald Stahl of Riverside, California; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
At the request of the family there will be no service. Entombment will be at Longview Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Steele Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

WIFE SHOT BY SPOUSE HAS CHANCE TO LIVE
Mrs. Ferdinand Stahl, who was shot by her husband a week ago before he killed himself is still in a serious condition at a local hospital, although physicians report a fair chance for recovery. A bullet split in three pieces is lodged in her head. She was the former Amanda Stuhr, born September 30, 1900, in Manning, daughter of Chris and Sophia (Nulle) Stuhr.
Her husband died on the way to the hospital and was buried Friday in the Manning Cemetery. The three sons of the couple are at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand and Helen (Petersen) Stahl, Sr.
