Mrs. Reichert Dies at Manning

Mrs. Anna Reichert, 67, died at 5 p.m. Thursday, November 25, 1952, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Koelle, here. Mrs. Reichert became ill Wednesday with the flu. Her death the next day was apparently caused by a heart attack.

Services Tuesday
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church here. Pastor John M. Ansorge will officiate. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Mrs. Reichert was born Anna Claussen, daughter of Peter and Catherine Claussen, January 22, 1885, at Weddingstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. She came to the United States in May 1905, and went to the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Huesman near Manning.

Her marriage to August Reichert took place October 30, 1907. They lived on a farm near Manning until the fall of 1936, when they moved into their home in Manning. Mr. Reichert died March 28, 1943.

Survivors
Mrs. Reichert is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Koelle (Louise), Mrs. George (Elsie) Jackson and Mrs. Gordon (Hertha) Wycoff, all of Manning; three grandchildren, Donald Jackson, USN, stationed in Alaska; Mrs. Ernest (Waldean) Kaiser, Mitchellville, and Linda Jackson, at home; three brothers in Germany, and a niece, Mrs. Andrea Simonetti, Sioux City.

Mrs. Reichert, a member of Zion Lutheran Church, was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Germany.

After her marriage she and her husband farmed near Manning until the fall of 1936, when they moved to Manning.

Mrs. Reichert is survived by three daughters: Mrs. John Koelle, Mrs. George Jackson, and Mrs. Gordon Wycoff, all of Manning; three grandchildren, Donald Jackson, stationed with the Navy in Alaska, Waldean, Mitchellville; and Linda Jackson, at home.

She was a member of Zion Church in Manning.
