Mrs. Hans Struve Dies Suddenly; Rites On Monday
Anna Struve, 72 died suddenly at her home late Thursday night, May 9, 1963, the victim of a heart attack. She had resided in this area for the past 45 years.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 13, at 2 p.m., in the E.U.B. Church, Peetz, Colorado. The Rev. Raymond Scott will officiate, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Sidney, Nebraska. The Gehrig and Son Funeral Home is in charge.

The family has designated the E.U.B. Church as a memorial.

Mrs. Struve was born September 6, 1890, at Manning, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Caroline (Hageman) Westphalen. She was married January 16, 1918, at Carroll, Iowa, to Hans G. Struve.

The couple moved to a farm northwest of Peetz, in 1918, and had resided there ever since.

Survivors include her husband, Hans; four daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Pearson, of Sioux Army Depot, Mrs. Arlene Adams, of Peetz, Mrs. Delores Steinbrecher, of Scottsbluff, and Mrs. Marjorie Stephan, of Redfield, Kansas; two sons, Arthur, of Bonanza, Oregon, and Harold, of Denver; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, M.C. Westphalen, at Sidney; and two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Lamp and Mrs. Minnie Jensen, both of Manning, Iowa.

Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Hans Struve
Funeral services for Mrs. Hans G. Struve, 72, who died Thursday night, were held Monday, May 13, in the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Peetz, Colorado.

Rev. Raymond Scott officiated at the 2 p.m. rites, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Sidney, Nebraska.

The Gehrig and Son Funeral Home was in charge.

Pallbearers were Ray C. Hawkins, Lester Vernon, H.E. Williams, Walter Stewart, Maurice Nelson, and David Ruhter.
