Anne (Wolters) Mayer
Anne Wolters was the daughter of Christina Bloemer and Jan Wolters of Enshede, The Netherlands, born July 22, 1872. Her father died when she was a child and she and her mother and brother, William Henry Wolters, traveled to America by ship in 1883. They settled in Manning.

Anne married William John Mayer in 1894. They were parents of Milly, Julia, Elma, Irene, Claire, and Milton Mayer.

She lived in Iowa until her husband's death in 1940. She moved to Irvington, Essex, New Jersey to live with her daughter.

She passed away May 7, 1961, in Orange County California where her daughter, Claire, lived.
