Manning Rites For Mrs. Ranniger
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Ranniger who died Thursday afternoon at University Hospital, Iowa, City, will be held at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, Monday, at 2 p.m. The Rev. James Wall of Manning Methodist Church will officiate.

The Presbyterian quartet will sing and nephews of the deceased will be pallbearers.

A former resident of Manning, Mrs. Ranniger moved to Coon Rapids 14 years ago.

The daughter of Mevis and Anna Schmielau she was born at Treynor, Iowa, September 10, 1885, and was married to Henry Ranniger December 21, 1904.

Of 10 children born to Mr. and Mrs. Ranniger, two died in infancy and a daughter, Wilma, passed away in 1942.

Surviving are Mrs. Roy (Elvira) Eradie, Davenport; Mrs. Ervin (Eldren) Popp, Walnut; Melvin S. at home in Coon Rapids; Mrs. Harley (Verina) Lengle, Denison; Myron at home; Mrs. Edward (LaJune) Becker, Coon Rapids; and Mrs. Lynn (Veronice) Durbin of Bagley.

Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, two sisters, three brothers and a half-sister. The sisters and brothers are Mrs. Emma Ehman, Rock Island, Illinois; Mrs. Laura Read, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, John and Otto Schmielau of Manilla, and Hugo Schmielau of Davenport. The half-sister is Miss Frieda Woest of Manilla.

Mrs. Henry Ranniger
Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Ranniger, 68, were at Ohde Funeral Home Monday, with the Rev. James Walls of the Manning Methodist Church officiating.

Mrs. Ranniger and her husband moved to the Coon Rapids vicinity from Manning 19 years ago. She died October 15 at an Iowa City hospital.

She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. Roy Gradient of Davenport, Mrs. Irwin Popp of Walnut, Melvin, at home, Mrs. Harley Lengle of Denison, Myron, at home, Mrs. Edward Becker of Coon Rapids, Mrs. Lynn Durbin of Bagley; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters, Mrs. Emma Ehman of Rock Island, Illinois, Mrs. Laura Read of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; John and Otto Schmielau of Manilla, Hugo Schmielau of Davenport, and a half-sister, Miss Frieda Woest, Manilla.
