Mrs. Meyer's maiden name was Annina Wiebers. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andreas and Antje (Holst) Wiebers and was born in Holstein, Germany, August 27, 1868. When a young woman she came with her parents to America and the family settled near Arcadia, Iowa. Later they moved to a farm near Wayne, Nebraska.
Deceased was married to Carl Meyer at Wayne, March 10, 1891. To this union were born seven sons and five daughters. Surviving Mrs. Meyer are her husband and the following sons and daughters: Charles of Wayne, Nebraska, Mrs. Bertha Kuhnhenn of Jefferson, Iowa, Herman of Manning, Iowa, Henry of Sioux City, Mrs. Amelia Herkins of Redmond, Oregon, William of Valley Springs, South Dakota, Mrs. Mary Brice of Pasadena, California, Mrs. Clara Tietsort of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Dorothy Barnes of Pasadena, Ernest of Pasadena, Paul of Redmond.
The youngest son, Sergeant Rudolph Meyer, was killed in action with the Army in the Marshall Islands February 4, 1944.
There are 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Meyer leaves one sister, Mrs. Dora Hoogestraat of Manning, Iowa, and three brothers, August of Westside, Iowa, Andrew of Omaha, and John of Arcadia, Iowa.
After farming in Wayne County for many years, Mr. and Mrs. Meyer lived in Carroll a few years before going to Coleridge 20 years ago.
Deceased had been a faithful member of the Lutheran Church and transferred her membership to Coleridge when she moved there.
Mrs. Tietsort of Oklahoma City, had been caring for her

children, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Perdue of Wayne.
