BEN STEEN Benhardt Steen, 57, of Omaha, formerly of Manning and Carroll, died in his sleep at his home Thursday, September 26, 1957, according to word received by relatives here. He had been in ill health about a year. Son of Henry and Augusta (Roggenbuch) Steen, he was born in Manning on June 16, 1901.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Mortuary in Omaha. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Omaha.

Mr. Steen is survived by his wife, the former Mary Pencker of Manning, and one daughter, Patricia Alsman.
