FORMER MANNINING MAN A SUICIDE
CHARLES PAULSEN SHOOTS HIMSELF DURING AN ATTACK OF DESPONDENCY
HE LIVED IN NEBRASKA
The Deceased Bought a Large Farm About Two Years Ago and Was Financially Involved, It is Said.

The funeral of Mr. Charles Paulsen was held from the Presbyterian Church Sunday morning.

Mr. Paulsen was formerly a citizen of Manning. About two years ago he bought a large farm in western Nebraska and had been Living there since that time.

Because it is said, of financial difficulties, he became despondent and Wednesday, October 4, 1922, committed suicide by shooting himself.

He was 40 years old and left a widow and three step-children and two brothers and four sisters. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Son of Peter and Catharina (Sievers) Paulsen, he was born March 5, 1882.
