Son of Frank and Mary (Macke) Vollmer, he was born December, 19, 1908. He attended Manning Schools, Kindergarten through Ninth Grade.
He resided at 713 6th Avenue SE, and is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Sherman (Patricia) Kaus, Mrs. Charlotte Gamm, Anoka, Minnesota, Mrs. Richard (Janet) Overby, Austin, nine grandchildren; five brothers, Michael of Ellendale, Paul of Manning, Iowa, Leo of Arcadia, California, James of Cincinnati, Ohio, Franklin of Albert Lea; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Rowedder, Mrs. Isabel Meiers, Manning, Mrs. Edward (Claire) Bargenquast, Perry, Iowa, Mrs. Loretta Hamill, Santa Rosa, California.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Austin, Minnesota.
