Pastor John M. Ansorge, of Zion Lutheran Church, officiated, and burial was in Manning Cemetery. Pallbearers were Clifford M. Johnson, Eddie Fischer, Peter Moeller, Herbert Kuhl, John Struve, and Frank Stribe.
Mrs. Waller died about 8 p.m., Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Hugo Grau, at Manilla. She had been bedfast 19 days.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Amanda Held, Waterloo; a son, John A. Waller, Bennett, Louisiana; a sister, Mrs. Fred Gruhn, Manning; a brother, John Asmus, Audubon, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Waller was born October 10, 1866, at Witwort, Germany, daughter of John and Albertine (Kronhnke) Asmus. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1938. The Wallers retired from farming about 30 years ago and lived in Manning.

the illness and death of our mother and grandmother, Mrs. Christina Waller; all
those who helped in any way, and also to those who sent cards and floral
offerings. Pastor John M. Ansorge for his consoling words. It was greatly
appreciated. Those kindnesses will never be forgotten.
