Daniel Paulson, age 36, of Odebolt died April 30, 2003, at Labette County Medical Center in Parsons, Kansas, after a lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis. Funeral services were held May 3, 2003, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Odebolt with burial in Odebolt Cemetery. Born April 12, 1967, in Manning, Iowa, the son of Eva (Aschinger) Paulson and Donald Paulson of Odebolt. Educated through Odebolt-Arthur Community Schools, Daniel lived and worked a short time in Minneapolis then returned to Odebolt. With his health failing he moved to Parsons, Kansas to be nursed by his mother, Eva until his death. Survivors include his parents, three brothers, Eugene, Donavon, & Roger; a sister, Deanna, two nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alger and Minnie Paulson, and maternal grandparents, Reuben and Leola Aschinger.
