The funeral service for Dennis Herbert Witt, 17, Harlan, will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Audubon County, south of here, at 2 p.m. Friday, November 20, with the Rev. G.C. Hattendorf officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Dennis died at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, at Jennie Edmondson Memorial Hospital, Council Bluffs, of injuries suffered Sunday morning in an automobile accident near Portsmouth.

He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert and Beulah (Orme) Witt of Harlan. His mother is the former Beulah Orme.

He was born July 22, 1947, at Carroll and was a member of the senior class at Harlan High School. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Audubon County.

Survivors are his parents; a sister, Karen, and a brother, Gary, at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Orme, of Neola; his aunts and uncles: Regilda, Edna, and Irwin Witt of near Manning; Mrs. Don Steenbock of Council Bluffs, Ruel Orme of Neola and Mrs. L. Dirks of Lakefield, Minnesota.

The body may be viewed at the Ohde Funeral Home at Manning. It will be taken to the church at noon Friday.
