Edwin Mogck
Edwin Theodore Mogck, 82, Clinton, Iowa, died Sunday, May 20, 1990, at Clinton Retirement Village.

Services are 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Clinton Memorial Funeral Home. Burial is in Clinton Memorial Park, Clinton, Iowa.

Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with Masonic services conducted at 7. Memorials may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Fund.

Mr. Mogck was born January 9, 1908, in Olivet, South Dakota, son of Heinrich and Anna (Grosz) Mogck. He married Louise Berg December 24, 1930, in Clearfield, Iowa. She died in 1960.

He married Ruth Triebel June 6, 1971, in Clinton.

He retired in 1972 after 15 years of teaching at Clinton Community College. He taught 42 years at Clinton High School, and schools in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa. Manning, Iowa, High School Principal: 1942-43. He also was superintendent of several schools.

He was a graduate of the University of Iowa, Iowa City.

He was a 50-year member of Masonic Western Star Lodge 100, Clinton; Clinton Moose Lodge; and First Congregational Church, Clinton.

Survivors include the widow; sons, Thomas Mogck, San Francisco, and Robert Mogck; a step-son, Arthur Triebel, Davenport; a step-grandson; and a brother, Paul Mogck, Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
