Services Set for Dr. E.E. Morton
Services for Dr. Elmer Elmsworth Morton, 80, who died of coronary thrombosis, Saturday night, December 13, 1952, at the home of his son, Edward Morton, 2409 Thirty-ninth Street, will be held at a.m. Tuesday at Dunn's Funeral Home, with burial at Silver Lage Cemetery, Ayrshire, Iowa.

Retired for several years, Dr. Morton practiced medicine in Des Moines from 1916 to 1930 and afterwards at Anita, and Manning from 1942 - 1952. He was an active medical practitioner for 51 years.

He was a life member of the Iowa State Medical society and a member of the American Medical Society.

Son of Meeker Squire, Jr., and Sarah (Conger) Morton, he was born February 9, 1871, in Eaton, Ohio.

Surviving, besides his son, are his wife, Sarah; a daughter, Mrs. Genevieve Hazelton, Iowa City; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
