Miss Elsie McQuaid Dies at Springdale
Miss Elsie McQuaid died Wednesday afternoon, March 9, 1938, at 2 o'clock at her home being failing health for some time.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending word from relatives.

Miss McQuaid was born in Iowa March 19, 1875, daughter of John L. McQuaid of Indiana and Margaret (Goundry) McQuaid of New York.

She is survived by a sister, Miss Edith McQuaid at the home; a brother, Dr. C.A. McQuaid of Oklahoma City; a niece, Mrs. Graines Lovell of Detroit, Michigan; and two nephews, Jimmie and Berry McQuaid of Oklahoma City.

Miss Elsie V. McQuaid, 60 years old, died at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at her home in the west part of town after several months of ill health. Funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the chapel of the Callison and Riggs Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Springdale Bluff Cemetery, Springdale, Arkansas. Miss McQuaid of the home, one brother, Dr. C.A. McQuaid of Oklahoma City, a niece, Mrs. Graines Lovell, formerly Miss Mildred McQuaid of Detroit, who was reared by her aunts and their late mother and nephews, Berry and Jimmie McQuaid of Oklahoma City.

Miss McQuaid was born March 19, 1875, at Arcadia, Iowa, and was a daughter of the late John L. McQuaid of Indiana and Margaret (Goundry) McQuaid of New York.
