Elsie Waller Elsie (Pruter) Waller, 80, of Bennett died Sunday, December 14, 1980, at Mercy Hospital, Davenport, after a brief illness.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Bennett. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, Iowa.

Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. today at Runge Chapel, Davenport. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Daughter of Carl and Dora (Lammers) Pruter, she was born November 23, 1900.

Elsie Pruter married John Waller in 1918 in Manning, Iowa. He died in 1965.

The couple farmed in Manning before moving to Bennett.

She was a member of the Ladies Aid of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Cedar County Farm Bureau; Cedar County Senior Citizens; and was a volunteer worker at Davenport, Lutheran Home.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Lauretta) Rorick, Bennett; sons, Albert and Evans, both of Bennett; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
