Mrs. Emma Louise (Nagel) Wegner, 69, died between 9 and 10 o'clock last night, July 7, 1949, at her home here after an Illness of about 10 months.
Funeral services will be at Zion Lutheran church Sunday afternoon, but the hour has not been set. Pastor John M. Ansorge, will officiate.
The body is at the Ohde Funeral home.
Born in Germany, July 29, 1879, daughter of Henry and Dorathea (Hass) Nagel, Emma had lived in this vicinity a long time, having resided on a farm before moving into town. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Henry, who was killed in an accident in 1929.
Her surviving children are: Mrs. George Peters (Milda), and Mrs. Bill Petersen (Helen), Manning; Mrs. Gus Schrum (Elsie), Botna; Ed Wegner, Manning; Louis Wegner, Denison, and Mrs. Mamie Brandt, Denison.
She also leaves 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
