Miss Sherman, born April 14, 1898, who was 43 years old, was a waitress in the tea room of Hotel Fort Des Moines at the time of her death. She had been a patient in the Methodist Hospital, Des Moines, for about two weeks.
She was a daughter of the late Norman Sherman, who at one
time operated a bakery in Manning. Her mother, Cora Belle (Peters) Sherman, and one sister survive.
