Fern Schwiesow A baby daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Caroline (Vinke) Schwiesow on Thursday morning, January 21, 1937, but the little one passed away about 6 o'clock that same evening. The remains were laid away in the Nishnabotna Cemetery in Crawford County on Friday with Rev. Isreal of Manilla delivering the prayer.
Mrs. Schwiesow is getting along nicely and is being cared for by her mother, Mrs. Mary Vinke of Westside.
