FLOYD C. MOERSHELL
Services for Floyd Charles Moershell, 85, 4917 3rd Avenue South, who died Sunday, October 11, 1964, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Werness Brothers Mortuary, 3700 Nicollet Avenue, with private burial in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Son of Ferdinand and Annie (Beard) Moershell, he was born in Walnut, Iowa, July 19, 1879. Mr. Moershell was a Minneapolis resident 50 years. He was northwest sales representative for J.W. Carter Company shoe manufacturers before his retirement 8 years ago.

Survivors include his widow, Alma H.; a daughter, Marjorie (Mrs. Richard J.) Garwood; and 3 grandchildren, all of Minneapolis. Memorials are preferred to the Plymouth Congregational Church.

Excerpt from Ferdinand's obituary: In the summer of 1904, he took his son, Floyd, into business with him under the firm name of F. Moershell and Son. The Manning firm continued until July 1913.
