School Notes
Death has again called one of our number, Frank Schmidt, of the first grade, a bright, jovial, inspiring boy. The sympathy of both teachers and pupils is extended to the family in their bereavement.

Death of Frankie Schmidt
Frankie Schmidt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schmidt, died Tuesday afternoon of typhoid-pneumonia. He had been sick for about two weeks and made a brave fight for life but the dreaded overcame him. During all his sickness he was very patient. Frankie was an obedient and lovable child and will be greatly missed in the home and by his playmates.

Frankie Schmidt was born December 7, 1901, son of Charles and Bertha (Ehlers) Schmidt, and died April 13, 1908. Age 7 years, 4 months, and 3 days.

The funeral took place at the M.E. Church this afternoon. Rev. Abraham L. Golden conducted the services. The little body was laid to rest in the Manning Cemetery.
