MRS. HANNAH C. WAILES
Mrs. Hannah C. Wailes, 85, of Manning, died Thursday morning, June 5, 1975, at Manning General Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 8, at 2 p.m. at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning. The Rev. Don Griffin will officiate. Organist will be Beverly Mitchell and Judy Joens, soloist. Mrs. Wailes' grandsons will be pallbearers. Burial will be in Highland Township Cemetery near Bayard.

Friends may call after 7:30 Friday night at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning.

Mrs. Wailes, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Park, was born May 18, 1891, in England. She married Jack Wailes in 1909 in England, and in 1913 the couple came to the United States and settled in Bayard. Mr. Wailes worked as a carpenter in Bayard and later for the Milwaukee Railroad. In 1928, they moved to Manning, where Mr. Wailes was a night clerk at the Milwaukee Railroad Depot. Mr. Wailes retired in 1956 and he and his wife continued to live in Manning.

Mr. Wailes died on July 21, 1972.

Mrs. Wailes had been a resident of the Manning Plaza since 1972.

Mrs. Wailes also was preceded in death by two daughters, Esther and Dorothy, and 10 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two daughters. Mrs. Gilbert (Nellie) Hinners of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mrs. Elsworth (Doris) Shannon, of Kirkman, and two sons, William of Aurora, Colorado, and Robert of Boone. Eighteen grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren also survive.
