Struve, 81, died Thursday, October 17, 1975, at Memorial Hospital. He was a retired farmer.
He was born December 2, 1893, at Clinton, Iowa, to Peter and Dora (Bargholtz) Struve.
On January 6, 1918, he married Anna Westphalen at Manning, Iowa. After their marriage they moved to a farm nine miles north of Peetz. Mrs. Struve retired to Peetz in 1973. He attended the Peetz United Methodist Church.
Struve is survived by one son, Harold of Aurora, Colorado; four daughters: Geraldine Pearson of Fowler, Colorado; Arlene Adams of Peetz; Delores Steinbrecher of Scottsbluff; and Marjorie Stephan of Fort Scott, Kansas; two brothers, Claus and Carson, both of South Gate, California; and one sister, Emma Jackson of Los Angeles; 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son, Arthur, three sisters, and two brothers.
The Peetz United Methodist Church has been named as a
memorial. Gehrig and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
