Her funeral will be held in the Zion Lutheran Church here at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Pastor Edward F. Heinicke officiating and burial in Hayes Township Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Ohde Funeral Home, Manning.
A daughter of John and Christine (Hagge) Strathman, she was born May 19, 1892, in Hayes Township, Crawford County, and attended rural school. Her marriage to Walter Ossenkop took place at Denison March 15, 1911, and they farmed in Hayes Township before moving to Manning in 1948. Mrs. Ossenkop was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Dorcas Society and the Manning Hospital Auxiliary.

Mrs. Walter (Henrietta Margaret) Ossenkop, 77, of Manning,
died Wednesday morning, October 1, 1969, at Manning General Hospital after being in failing health for some time.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Vernon of Vail and Earl of Denison; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Louise) Stoffers, Westside; and Mrs. Vernus (Marion) Grimsman, Carroll; 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Woodrow Strathman, Westside; and four sisters, Mrs. Hilda Kruse of Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Henry (Helma) Kruse, Manning; Mrs. Viola Copeland, Lincoln, Nebraska; and Mrs. Ray (Ruby) Brandhorst, Denver, Colorado.
Mrs. Ossenkop was preceded in death by two grandchildren; four brothers, Jack, Harry, Elmer, and Lee Strathman, and a sister, Mrs. Roy (Laura) Mulligan.
