Mr. Stuhr had been making his home with a daughter, Mrs. Henry Otto, at Botna.
He is also survived by his wife, two grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Edna Coleman, Dora (Mrs. Henry) Stoelk, Charles Stuhr of Manning, Chris Stuhr, Matilda (Mrs. Herman) Bohnsack and Mrs. Minnie Frahm of Mason City, and Mrs. Eva Krause of Carroll.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Gus Bohnsack and Mrs. Henry Windisch, and two brothers, Ted and John Stuhr.
Funeral arrangements had not been made by press time.
Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.

SERVICES FOR HENRY C. STUHR, 75, HELD FRIDAY
Funeral services for Henry Claus Stuhr, 75, were held on Friday afternoon at
the Ohde Funeral home with the Rev. Brown Garlock officiating. A quartet
composed of Ray Pratt, May Schrum, Emma Dietz, and Clifford M. Johnson sang for
the services, accompanied by Bonita (Mrs. H.W.) Hagedorn.
Burial was in the Manning Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Stoelk, Harry Stoelk, Albert Stoelk, Murrell Vandeman, and Ed Stuhr, Albert Jensen, all nephews.
Mr. Stuhr was born October 20, 1879, in Schleswig - Holstein, Germany, and as a child came to Philadelphia with his parents. Later they moved to Grand Mound, Iowa, and then to Carroll County.
On May 5, 1908, he was married to Anna Hansen. The couple had three children. Two sons died in infancy.
Mr. Stuhr passed away on Tuesday, June 27, enroute to the Manning hospital. He had suffered a stroke the previous Saturday.
Mr. Stuhr is survived by his wife and a daughter, Mrs. Henry Otto, (Viola), with whom he had made his home since undergoing an eye operation five years ago. He also leaves two grandchildren, Marlene and Merlin Otto, five sisters; (Dora) Mrs. Henry Stoelk of Manning, Mrs. Edna Coleman of Manning, Mrs. Effie Krause of Carroll, Mrs. Matilda Bohnsack and Mrs. Minnie Frahm of Mason City, and two brothers, Chris Stuhr of Mason City and Charles Stuhr of Manning; also many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends, survive.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Bohnsack of Dougherty, and Mrs. Louise Windish of Manilla, three brothers, Will of Elwood, and John of Salem, Oregon, and Theodore of Manning.
Mr. Stuhr was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Germany.

and Mrs. Lyle Day of Glidden, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Klinkefus of Guthrie Center; Mr.
and Mrs. Fred Bohnsack, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bohnsack, Mrs. Matilda Bohnsack,
Mrs. John Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Knute Knudson and Frank Frahm, all of Mason City; Mr. and Mrs. Lauren Stoelk of Wall Lake.
