Henry Ranniger
Funeral services for Henry Ranniger, 72, were Monday afternoon at Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, the Rev. James Walls of Manning Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.

Ranniger was born on June 17, 1881, in Washington Township, Carroll County, and died on March 4, 1954, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed Becker, near Coon Rapids. He had been ill for the past year.

He farmed in Carroll and Crawford Counties.

Survivors include five daughters: Mrs. Roy Gadient of Davenport, Mrs. Irwin Popp of Walnut, Mrs. Harley Lingle of Denison, Mrs. Ed Beck of Coon Rapids, Mrs. Lynn Durbin of Bagley; two sons, Melvin and Myron, at home; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ferdinand of Carroll and John of New Ulm, Minnesota.
