Henry Rix, living six miles north of town, died at his home last Saturday after a two weeks illness with stomach trouble and pneumonia.

Henry Rix was born December 31, 1876, at Stackendorf, Holstein, Germany, and came to this country with his parents in March 1892. He was married to Miss Mary Neuman, February 17, 1903, two children being born to them, Edward, aged 5, and Elnor, aged 3 years. He died Saturday at 12 o'clock and was buried Tuesday in the Hayes Township Cemetery. He leaves to mourn his loss, besides his wife and two children, his aged parents at Arcadia; four brothers, Theodore, Peter, John and Julius; three sisters, Mrs. Louie Schultz, Jackson, Minnesota; Mrs. Adolph Pietz, Bridgemond, Minnesota; and Mrs. Claus Moeller, who lives north of town.
