HERBERT RUDNICK
Herbert Rudnick, 75, of Gray, died en route to St. Anthony Regional Hospital, Carroll, Friday evening, December 27, 1974, after becoming ill at his home.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lincoln Township, Audubon County, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Audubon. The Rev. Werner F. Wetzstein officiated. Pallbearers were Delmus Hacker, Roy Gittens, Larry Kendle, Junior C. Jensen, Robert D. Hansen and Harold Asmus. The Ohde Funeral Home of Manning was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Rudnick, son of Otto and D. Marie (Rieckmann) Rudnick, was born December 21, 1899, in Lincoln Township and attended rural school. A Mechanic, he worked in Omaha, California, and Gray. He operated a repair shop and gas station here until retiring eight years ago: He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He was married in 1946 to Meta Addison, who preceded him in death. A son, Donald and several brothers also are deceased.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Don (Wanda) Mathisen of Crescent; a son, Wayne of Gray; five step-sons, William and Gene Addison of Council Bluffs; Fern "Micky" Addison of Lanesboro; Larry Addison of Monroe City, Missouri; and Clark Addison of Boulder, Colorado; and four grandchildren.

The following sisters. and brothers also survive; Mrs. Lizz Rutz of Wisconsin; Gus Rudnick of Manning, John Rudnick of Audubon, August Rudnick of Lake, View, Mrs. Minnie Boers of Carroll, Mrs. Bertha French of Spencer, Oscar and Dorothy Rudnick of Milford.
