Funeral services for Herman Oeser, 76, former Manning resident, were held at Palo Alto, California, Thursday, December 4, 1969. Mr. Oeser died at Palo Alto on Tuesday, December 2.
Relatives living in Manning are his brother, John Oeser, and two sisters, Mrs. Alma Eckholdt and Mrs. Emma Frahm, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Schrum, Mr. and Mrs. John Frahm, Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Kruse.
Herman Oeser
Herman Oeser, apartment house manager and 12-year Palo Alto resident, died
Tuesday, December 2, 1969, at the Palo Alto Convalescent Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was 76.
He was born in Westside, Iowa, August 6, 1893, son of John and Mary (Holst) Oeser, and moved from his home state to Oakland in 1946.
He moved to Palo Alto in 1957. For five years he worked at Varian Associates. He was also resident manager of the Matadero Anita Apartments and later resident manager of apartments on Curtner Avenue in Palo Alto.
Surviving is his wife, Margaret M. Oeser of Palo Alto; sons, Harold J. Oeser of Los Altos, and Allen L. Oeser of Vallejo; daughters, Mrs. Lucille Getman of Luverne, Minnesota, and Mrs. Joyce Line of San Leandro; nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Tinney and Sons, 555 College Avenue, Palo Alto.
Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Thursday at St.
Paul Lutheran Church, 1075 El Monte Avenue, Mountain View. Burial will be in Alta
Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto, California.
