IRENE MURRAY
Funeral services for Irene Murray, 53, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, at the Ohde Funeral Home, with the Rev. F.C. Volske of the Manilla Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Miss Murray died Saturday evening, April 29, 1961, at Clarinda, where she had been a patient since 1930. The body is at the Ohde Funeral Home and may be viewed after 6 p.m. Monday.

A daughter of Peter and Minnie (Ohrt) Murray, she was born at Manning November 7, 1907. She graduated from Manning High School in 1926, and was attending the school of nursing at the State University of Iowa, Iowa City, before becoming ill.

Surviving are her mother, and one brother, Ralph Murray, both of Red Oak. Her father preceded her in death.

Daughter of Peter and Minnie Ohrt, of Murray, she was born November 7, 1907, at Manning, and graduated from Manning High School. While taking nurse's training at the University of Iowa, she suffered a nervous breakdown. She has been at the Mental Health Institute in Clarinda since 1930, where she died on Saturday morning, April 29.
She is survived by her mother of Red Oak and a brother, Ralph, of Red Oak. She was preceded in death by her father.
