Jacob Ohde, 57, employee of the W.B. Parrott Produce Company here, committed suicide by hanging Monday noon.

Friends say that he had been depressed and in ill health for several months.

He is survived by a son, Clarence, and two brothers, William and Henry of Manning, and two sisters, Mrs. Hans Wilkens and John Schelldorf of Westside, Iowa.

MANNING MAN A SUICIDE
Jake Ohde, 54, was found dead in his room at his home in this city, having taken his life by hanging. The discovery was made by his son, Clarence. The deceased was a brother of William Ohde, furniture dealer of this place. He had been working in a poultry plant here.
