Jens Sonksen Of Manning Dies
Jens Sonksen, 76, retired farmer, died unexpectedly at his home here early this morning, February 28, 1952. His death was apparently caused by a heart attack.

The body is at the Ohde Funeral home, awaiting completion of funeral arrangements.

Son of Boy and Anna (Hansen) Soenksen, Jens, a native of Germany, had lived in Manning many years after his retirement from farming. His wife, who was Dora Asmus before her marriage, died several years ago.

Surviving are one son, Herman Sonksen; two daughters, Jessie (Mrs. Arlo) Pfannkuch and Christina (Mrs. George) Mohr, all of Manning; 15 grandchildren and one brother, John Sonksen, Manning.

Two sons, Bernard and Julius, both of Audubon, preceded their father in death.
