AREA RELATIVES ATTEND FUNERAL OF JOHN WALLER

Relatives from this area attended funeral services for John Waller, 75, Bennett, Iowa, at Davenport on Wednesday, October 20, 1965. Mr. Waller was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Pete Waller of Manning. He is survived by his wife, the former Elsie Pruter of Manning, two sons and a daughter.

Attending the services were Mrs. Julius Polzin, William Ahrendsen, Arthur Ahrendsen, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Ahrendsen, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Miller, Manning; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ahrendsen, Elmer Bauer, Audubon; Hugo Grau and Mrs. Ancil Crouch, Manilla, and Mrs. Walter Martens.

WALLER SERVICES
Services for John D. Waller, 75, of R.R. No. 1, Bennett, an area farmer 33 years, who died Sunday, October 17, 1965, at his home, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Runge Chapel, with burial in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, Iowa.

Mr. Waller farmed in Shelby County and Manning before moving to Bennett in 1932. He retired eight years ago.

Son of Peter and Christina (Asmus) Waller, he was born in Audubon County, February 27, 1890, and married the former Elsie Pruter in 1918, in Manning, Iowa.

Surviving is his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Rorick; sons, Albert and Evans, all of Bennett, and four grandchildren.
