MRS. HERMAN J. VOGT

Mrs. Herman Vogt, 78, of Manning died Tuesday morning, November 2, 1965, at Manning General Hospital, where she had been a patient for eight months.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Ohde Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carl G. Sinning officiating. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

The former Laura Helen Reimer, she was born January 10, 1887, at Mount Joy in Scott County, a daughter of August and Christine (Luetje) Reimer. She came to Manning as a child and attended school here. On September 28, 1909, she married Mr. Vogt and they lived in Harlan for a short time before coming back to Manning. For many years Mr. Vogt was associated with Kuhl & Vogt Hardware.

Mrs. Vogt is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Vern (Bernice) Howe, Dunlap; and one grandson, Bruce Howe. One brother and one sister preceded her in death.

Services for Mrs. Herman (Laura) Vogt, 78, wife of a long-time Manning hardware merchant, were Thursday at the Ohde Funeral Home here. Burial was in Manning Cemetery.
