Mamie MacNab
Mrs. James A. (Mamie) MacNab, 2721 SW Mitchell Court, died Wednesday, June 15, 1966, at her home after a brief illness. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holman & Son Funeral Home. Burial was at River View Cemetery, Portland, Oregon.

Mrs. MacNab was born July 25, 1890, in Manning, Iowa, daughter of Alonzo and Anna (Conner) Lenhart. She attended Manning Schools from 1899 through 1907, and was graduated from Geneva, Nebraska, High School in 1908. Prior to coming to Oregon she taught grade school in DeWitt, Nebraska, and in Omaha Presbyterian Seminary. After World War II, she taught music at Lower Columbia Junior College in Longview, Washington, and directed the choir of Longview Christian Church.

Mrs. MacNab was a member of the Oregon Music Teachers Association and of the National Association of Music Teachers. In Portland she was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Women's League of Lewis and Clark College.

Mrs. MacNab is survived by her husband, James A. MacNab, professor of biology at Portland State College; two sons, James L and Colin R., both of Pasadena, California; a daughter, Mrs. Adelia E. Marion of Silver Spring, Maryland; and four grandchildren.

The family suggests remembrances in the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, the Epilepsy League of Oregon, or the First Presbyterian Church in Portland.

MRS. MAMIE MACNAB
Mrs. Mamie (Lenhart) MacNab, 2721 SW Mitchell Court, died at her home Wednesday after a brief illness.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Edward Holman & Son Mortuary. Interment will be private.

Mrs. MacNab was born in Manning, Iowa, on July 25, 1890. She and her husband, James, who survives, were married in Roseburg in 1921. Mrs. Macnab was a music teacher and after World War II she taught at the Lower Columbia Junior College in Longview, Washington.

She was a member of the Oregon Music Teachers Association the National Association of Music Teachers and several civil organizations.

In addition to the widower, a professor of biology at Portland State College, Mrs. MacNab is survived by two sons, James L., and Colin, both of Pasadena, California; and one daughter, Mrs. Adelia E. Marion, of Silver Springs, Maryland. Also surviving are four grandchildren.

The family suggests that any remembrances be in the form of a contribution to the American Cancer Society, the Epilepsy League or the First Presbyterian Church of Portland.
