Funeral services were at Zion Lutheran Church at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon and burial in the Arcadia Cemetery. Pastor Johann M. Ansorge was in charge of the rites.
Mrs. Paesler was born September 15, 1869, in Jayel, Schleswig,
Germany, and reached the age of 79 years, 11 months, and 3 days.
Her husband, Herman Friedrick Paesler died June 5, 1921, and is buried in Arcadia, Iowa, Cemetery.
She had been in failing health the last year. Her daughter, Mrs. John Ranniger of Springfield, Minnesota, was with her at the time of her death. She also leaves a son, Gus Paesler of Jefferson. The daughter and son are the only survivors in a family of six children.
Nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive. Two of the grandchildren, Elroy Ranniger and Velma Ranniger, live in Carroll. Mrs. Paesler also leaves a brother, Joe Mordhorst of Moscow, Idaho, and a sister, Anna, in Germany.
Mrs. Paesler was preceded in death of her husband, Herman.
Pallbearers were William Bauer, Herman Anthony, John J. Struve, Jens Sonksen, Julius Wehrmann, and Henry Anthony.
Relatives from a distance at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John Ranniger, Orry and Willard of Springfield, Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ranniger of St. Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Merle Ranniger and daughter, Sally, of Mason City, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Paesler, Mrs. Dillavou and son of Jefferson, Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Ranniger and family and Velma Ranniger of Carroll, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Petersen of Irwin, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ranniger and Melvin of Coon Rapids and Mrs. Durban and son of Bagley.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Paesler, 80, who died Thursday at a nursing
home in Carroll, were held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor John M. Ansorge officiating.
Mrs. Paesler was born at Jayel, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. She and her
husband farmed near Manning until his death in 1921, when she moved to Manning.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John Ranniger, Springfield, Minnesota; a
son, Gus Paesler, Jefferson; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a
brother, Joe Mordhorst, Moscow, Idaho; and a sister, Anna, in Germany.
