Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 30, at the Ohde Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Brazelton, pastor of the United Methodist Church at Gray, officiating.
Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Milton, James, and Roger Sinow, John D. and Craig Moeller, and Harold Kienapfel. Bonita Hagedorn will be organist and Judy Joens soloist.
Surviving are two sons: John J. and Freddie Moeller, both of Manning; three daughters: Laura and Betty Moeller, both of Manning, and Mrs. Minnie Sinow, Gray; a brother Emil Ploen, Culver City, California; five grandsons; five great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Amanda Sinow, a grandson Melvin Sinow and a son-in-law Herbert Sinow.
Mrs. Moeller was born September 24, 1884, in Crawford County north of Manning, a daughter of Jochim and Dorothea (Wiese) Ploen. She attended rural schools and moved with her family to Audubon County in 1900.
On February 22, 1905, she was married to Fred Moeller in Manning. They farmed in Lincoln Township, Audubon County, throughout their married life.
After the death of her husband December 13, 1961, she continued to live in their home with her children Laura, Freddie, and Betty. In April of 1978, she entered the hospital, eventually for long-term care.
