Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Ohde Funeral Home here. The Rev. Lester Moore, pastor of the Methodist Church, will officiate, with burial in the Manning Cemetery.
Mrs. Murray was born April 6, 1877, in Washington Township, Carroll County, and attended Washington No. 5 and No. 8 rural schools. In 1901, she married Peter Murray and they lived in Manning, where he was a barber. After his death on July 7, 1912, she continued to live here until 1946, when she moved to Villisca. She moved to Red Oak in 1947.
She is survived by one son, Ralph Murray of Red Oak; one grandson, Robert Murray, Omaha; one great-granddaughter and one brother, Charles Nut of Bakersfield, California.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one
daughter, Irene, in 1960; also six brothers and sisters.

Minnie Murray
Services for Mrs. Minnie Murray, 87, Red Oak, former resident, were held here
on Thursday afternoon at the Ohde Funeral Home. Burial was in Manning.
Mrs. Murray, who lived in Manning until 1946, died at her home in Red Oak on
Tuesday. She is survived by a son, Ralph of Red Oak.
