Funeral services for Murrell Dewey Vandeman, 72, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Raynor, Lett, and Kent Funeral Home here.
The Rev. E.E. Rayse of the Grace United Methodist Church here will officiate, with burial at the Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Iowa.
Vandeman was found dead at his home in Tabor, Iowa, Wednesday, May 17, 1972.
Son of Charles and Nellie (Holmes) Vandeman, he was born January 11, 1900, in Jefferson Township, Shelby County.

Vandeman was found dead at his home in Tabor Wednesday.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. LaRae Gustin of Rosalie, Nebraska, and Mrs. Virginia Nickum of Glenwood; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Elsie Moore of Botna.

Funeral rites for Minnie (Mrs. Murrell) Vandeman, 66, former Botna area resident, were held on Saturday, January 24, at the Raynor-Lent Chapel in Glenwood, Iowa.
Relatives from Manning attending were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Otto, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stoelk; Mr. and Mrs. Gale Moore and Mrs. Elsie Moore of Botna.
Mrs. Vandeman is survived by her husband and two daughters.
