Roy Zane
Died, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. N.C. Guild, the grandparents, Roy, only son of Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Zane, aged 7 years 6 months and 11 days. About four weeks ago the little one was taken with the whooping cough and two weeks thereafter lung fever set in. Roy was a noble little fellow, was a great favorite among his playmates and of kindly disposition. His death is a severe blow to his parents and the entire community deeply sympathize with them. The funeral was held from the Presbyterian Church yesterday afternoon, Rev. A.W. Thompson officiating and the remains were laid to rest in the Manning Cemetery.
