Mrs. Rust is survived by two daughters. Her husband, Henry F. Rust, is deceased.
She was born December 1, 1860, at Poggenhagen, Germany, daughter of Wilemene Bartels
(father's name not discovered yet).

Mrs. Sophie Rust Of Manning Dies at Her Daughter's Home
Mrs. Sophia Rust died Sunday night at the home of her daughter, Dorthea (Mrs.
Louie) Ehlers, on Third Street in Manning.
The time of the funeral rites has not been set, but services will be held in
the Zion Lutheran Church, with Pastor John M. Ansorge officiating.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Manning for
Mrs. Sophie Rust, who died Sunday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr.
and Mrs. Louis and Dorthea Ehlers. Pastor John M. Ansorge conducted rites, with burial in Manning Cemetery.
