Thad Douglas Rohde Memorial services for Thad Douglas Rohde, 27, formerly of Bettendorf, will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Bettendorf. The body has been cremated.

Mr. Rohde died Saturday, May 18, 1980, in Des Moines. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.

Thad attended 2nd grade at Manning in 1960

He was employed at John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline. He was a graduate of Iowa State University, Ames.

Thad was born July 23, 1952. He attended Manning Grade School in 1960.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth and Dorla (Eckley) Rohde, Bettendorf; a sister, Dixie, Iowa City; a brother, Drew, Bettendorf; and grandparents, Mrs. Olivene Eckley, Manning, Iowa, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Rohde, Wall Lake, Iowa.
