TINA S. MEYERS
Tina S. Meyers, 82, of Manning died September 25, 1973, at Manning General Hospital. She suffered a broken hip six weeks ago.

Services will be held at the Ohde Funeral Home here at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Joel Wright, minister of the Presbyterian Church, will officiate and burial will be in the Manning Cemetery.

Miss Meyers, daughter of Henry W. and Anna (Hansen) Meyers, was born on a farm north of Manning November 8, 1890, and attended Ewoldt No. 1 and Ewoldt No. 5 country schools near her home. On March 1, 1913, she moved into Manning with her parents and worked in stores here. For a short time she lived in Long Beach, California, and then returned to Manning.

Following the deaths of her father in 1941 and her mother in 1957, she continued to live in the family home until entering the Manning Plaza Nursing Home because of her health last December.

She is survived by the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Helma Hoffmann of Oceanside, California; Henry E. Meyers of Manning; Marvin M. Meyers of Omaha, Nebraska; Alfred H. Meyers of Carroll; and Mrs. Raymond B. (Florence) Kelsey of Novato, California; also by nieces and nephews. Another sister, Mrs. Ida Kleespies preceded her in death.

I'm occasionally adding the actual scanned image of the obituary I make using my VERY expensive - large commercial scanner, and/or also other articles about the deceased person that were published in the Manning Monitor.
I want to also comment about people who are taking my obituaries, pictures, and/or other articles about a person/family and posting them on other websites.
You do NOT have permission or the right to do this - you are stealing my historical work.
Buy your own scanning equipment, pay for memberships to other commercial websites, and spend decades working on your local history like I have - then you'll understand why I'm making these comments!

Thank you for your attention to this matter - Dave Kusel
