Mrs. Murkle Funeral Wednesday Morning Mrs. Wilhelmina J. Murkle, 89, mother of Clara (Mrs. Joe) Meick of Sidney, died at the Meick home Sunday, following an illness of about a year.

Daughter of John and Amelia (Knepp) Graham, she was born August 16, 1950, in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
She married Frederick Murkle on December 2, 1869, in Poweshiek County, Iowa; George McCall, Justice of the Peace.

Mrs. Markle had lived in this community with the Meick family for 29 years, coming here from Cedar County, Nebraska, after her husband's death.

Funeral services will be held from the Catholic Church Wednesday morning at nine o'clock, Rev. Anton Link officiating. Interment in the family plot in the Greenwood Catholic Cemetery, Sidney, Nebraska; Gehrig Funeral Home in charge.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Meick; Mrs. Minnie and Mrs. Alice Beck of Farnum; Harry Murkle of White River, South Dakota; Mrs. Mary Macklin of Bloomfield; and Dora (Mrs. Harold) Henderson of Hartington. There are also 50 grandchildren, 92 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
