Final Rites Held For William Nulle
Services for William Nulle, 80, were held at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning Saturday afternoon, June 24, with Rev. Garlock of the Methodist Church officiating.

A quartet composed of Ray Pratt, May Schrum, Emma Dietz, and Clifford M. Johnson sang, accompanied by Mrs. Bonita Hagedorn.

Burial was in the Manning Cemetery.

Mr. Nulle was born February 18, 1870, at Scharmberg Luppe, Germany, son of Heinrich and Caroline (Bolte) Nulle, and passed away at his home in Manning June 21, 1950.

At the age of 13, he came to America with his parents who located at Davenport. Later he moved to Neola and came to the Manning vicinity in 1885.

In 1895, he was married to Anna Hass, and the couple farmed until 1921, when they moved to Manning. They celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1945.

Mr. Nulle is survived by his wife; a son, Alfred of Charter Oak; a daughter, Malinda (Mrs. Emil) Steen of Manning; one grandson, Wesley Nulle, and a brother, August Nulle of Manning. Glen Hass, a nephew, was reared by the NuIles.

Mr. Nulle was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
