He moved to 715 Third Street in 1923.

Building front with Essex sign is 413 Main.

"Grandpa Stumpe had a dog that would pee on the light pole in front of the Gotch Garage -- 413 Main Street.
So one day Herman Gotch wired the pole with a battery so when the dog would pee on the pole he would get a shock. After the dog got shocked he would no longer go up town."
